Christian Devotions and Bible Studies posts once or twice every week. Every post includes a link to the Scriptures on which the devotional is based, a message based on the main points derived from that Scripture, questions for personal reflection (or group discussion), and a prayer prompt to help you get started on a meaningful conversation with God.
My goal is to help you grow in your personal relationship with God by helping you understand the lessons of God’s word, reflect on them, and pray about them.

I believe in the plenary and verbal inspiration of God’s infallible word. Therefore, the Bible is our final and only authority in all matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)
I believe in the one and only God of the Bible, a single being composed of three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (John 15:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus of Nazareth is God’s Son, the Messiah (Christ) who was promised in the TaNaKh, the Hebrew Bible. I believe in His eternal preexistence, virgin birth, hypostatic union, sinless life, ministry of miracles, physical death, vicarious atonement, bodily resurrection, ascension, glorification, and second coming. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26, 1 Timothy 3:16)
The Holy Spirit
I believe that everyone who exercises saving faith in Jesus receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, being indwelt by Him for all eternity. The Holy Spirit is ever present in that person to guide him and empower him to do God’s will. (Ephesians 1:13-14, Romans 8:9)
I believe that salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from baptism and works. I believe in the eternal security of believers, and in assurance of salvation. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 8:31-37, Romans 10:9)
Baptism is to be practiced only by those who have trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It is done by immersion, It is only a symbol of what Christ has done for the believer. (Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 3:21)
The Lord’s supper is to be practiced only by those who have trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It only a symbol and a memorial of what Christ has already done at the cross. (Luke 22:17-20; 1 Corinthians 11:24-25)
I believe in the resurrection of believers unto eternal life in God’s kingdom, and in the judgment and eternal sentence of unbelievers to Hell. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:12-15)
